Purchase a qualifying clothes washer and you can use up to 40 percent less energy and 40 percent less water than with a conventional machine. That's equal to saving 7,800 gallons of water a year. Energy-efficient clothes washers extract more water during the spin cycle, reducing energy use for drying and wear and tear on your clothes so they last longer. Qualifications
Clothes washersClothes washer must be on the Qualified Clothes Washers list at time of purchase
$50 customer incentive- Customer must have electric water heat
- Unit must have a Modified Energy Factor, (MEF), of 2.0-2.45
- Unit must have a Water Factor, (WF), of 6.0 or below
- Customer must have electric water heat
- Unit must have a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.46 or above
- Incentive Application must be received within 90 days of purchase or installation
